Troubleshooting Problems

  1. Speech Synthesizers
    1. The sapi4 synthesizer does not appear in the Synthesizer dialog.
  2. Braille Displays
    1. The Handy Tech braille display does not appear in the Braille Settings dialog.

Speech Synthesizers

The sapi4 synthesizer does not appear in the Synthesizer dialog.

IN order for SAPI 4 to be used, you need to install the  SAPI 4.0 runtime binaries.

Braille Displays

The Handy Tech braille display does not appear in the Braille Settings dialog.

IN order for Handy Tech displays to be used with NVDA, you need to install the  Handy Tech universal driver.
