Description (last modified by jteh) (diff)
Type a word with capital letters and NVDA's pitch setting is set to 50. I don't know if this is a sliding pitch change[have it set to 20], but thought I'd put it here since I didn't see anyone else mentioning it. Using serotek sapi 4 driver eloq read voice.

If you type a capital letter in any window using the sappi 4 saratech driver the pitch is pushed up to the capital letters pitch level. To be clearer, it's like everything is a capital letter. I have to re-adjust the pitch level in the voice preferences before it's back to normal. However, as soon as I type a capital letter, the same thing happens again. Sorry if this isn't clear enough.

I think this is a feature when "Raise pitch for capitals" is checked in the Voice settings dialog it raises the pitch each time it is about to speak a capital letter. Anyway for me it is still returning back to the right setting after speaking of such a capital letter is complete.
Can you exactly describe the problem please? Because I think there is no problem or I have missunderstood your description.
