Description
Running Word or Outlook 2007 in Windows 7 will sometimes cause NVDA speech to freeze for up to a minute, and causes errors in the log file.
Tested with both version 2009.1 and the latest snapshot on windows 7 x86 and x64.
The firstlog file I attach was made on windows 7 X86:
- started NVDA 2009.1
- Run Word 2007, automatically opening a blanc document,
- Typed some characters and shutdown Word without saving.
The second and third attached log files also show comparable errors for the snapshots on a windows 7 x86 and windows 7 x64 machines.
I also get the error when running outlook 2007 and doing things like opening a message.
It appears the error doesn't freeze speech in 2009.1, but in the snapshots outlook is not usable for me because it just won't read messages and freezes up all the time with those same errors in the log file.

In the changelog for 3499 it looked as though this issue might have been addressed, but it is still there with today's 3500 snapshot.

Is this problem still reproduceable in recent NVDA snapshots?
I understand why you would have seen a freeze in outlook when opening a message, I'm pretty sure that one has been fixed. But are you also saying you were seeing freezes in MS Word?
Please try again with a recent snapshot, and clearly state exactly when the freze happens. Note that logging has been improved a bit now as the log will now contain all the speech you here, which may make it easier for developers to track what actions you are performing.
