Some organisations are allergic to GPL source code. They can run binaries of GPL source code, but cannot allow GPL source code to be installed. NVDA currently includes Python source code for appModules, synthDrivers and brailleDisplayDrivers in binary distributions. These can be safely excluded; there's no real reason to include them (especially as we don't include any other source) and the Python bytecode is sufficient.
