When I open a certain type of MS Word (.doc) documents in MS Word 2007 (also happens in MS Word 2010 - tested) with NVDA running, MS Word freezes and I have to forcibly close it (it gives me the "Not responding" error message). If NVDA is not running, MS Word doesn't freeze while opening such documents. Here's a link for such a problematic .doc file:

http://www.codefactory.es/descargas/nsr/Nokia_Screen_Reader_Manual_English.doc

All is well while reading the first page of this document, but when I get to the 2nd page, MS Word freezes. NVDA also freezes, but if I switch to another application, NVDA resumes working normally. The content of that 2nd page I think are some kind of links. I think that I've noticed it happening on other .doc files as well, and on the same type of page content. Both versions of MS Word tested (2007 and 2010) are localized in bulgarian, if that matters.

P.S.: I forgot to mention, that this does not seam to happen with v2011.3 - only with v2012.1 and the snapshots.

Fixed in 36e1e1f. Still a bit of a lag in this specific case, but at least once it is done it will no longer freeze entirely.

For the record, in XP in English with Word XP/2002, this effect is not present at all.
