NVDA does not read multiple email addresses in Mozilla Thunderbird 5. When in Thunderbird 5, I go to compose a new message, and I can get to the TO field, but it will not read out more than one email address. Visually there are a list of addresses beginning with whatever letter I have pressed (eg. A for Andrew), but my NVDA only reads out the first one and nothing below that. The list of other "A" addresses are there below it, but my screen reader will not read them to me. This is not an issue in Win XP home using Thunderbird 5, but only in Windows 7 (64 bit) using Thunderbird 5. I have tested this with snapshot 2011.2-4568 Thanks

Please be more specific, including exactly what you do, what happens and what you expected instead. For example, you state that NVDA doesn't read the addresses below but that it works fine in XP, but you don't state how it works in XP.

Also, is this the same issue as reported in #1623?

When I go into Mozilla Thunderbird 5, file...new...message... it defaults to the TO: field where I can put in an email address. I put in say the letter R (and I know there is a list of ten or so email addresses with R) then I just arrow down and it will read each email address as I go down the list of names/emails. I can arrow up and down and it will read them out to me perfectly. Next, I press enter (when I have selected the first email address I want). It goes to the second TO: field (so I can put in another email address) but this time it may or may not read out the addresses anymore. It is problematic - working sometimes on the first email address only, and others on the first and second email address only, but not the third. All it says is "up arrow" or "down arrow" as I use the up and down arrow. if I shift tab (to get it to go back to the first email address I have there, and then tab, tab it will read the second one then. I have no way of knowing who I am choosing as the second and subsequent recipients. I can select shift tab, to go back to TO and shift tab again to go back to the first email address, and tab down to the second, but it is kind of pointless as I have no idea who I am selecting the second time. What I expected, was that NVDA would normally let me hear the second and subsequent recipients from the drop down email list so I can choose who else I want to send it to. This is on Windows XP Home with Thunderbird 5.0 In a nutshell, it is intermittent, and I can only choose one recipient successfully. In Windows 7 (64 bit), with Thunderbird 5.0 I repeat this same process, (eg. press the letter R to go down the R email list), which NVDA normally speaks to me, but it says the first email address, and then says deselecting. If I arrow down and arrow down there is no reading of the email addresses. It sounds kind of similar to ticket number 1623, and previous Thunderbird clients would speak out the whole list of email addresses no matter how many people you added to the TO fields. I have only tested this with the TO fields, not the BCC fields etc.
