When you moved to the field, did you press enter to activate virtual buffer pass through mode? Did NVDA say "virtual buffer pass through mode on"?

RNo, I turned it on. I know how to do this, and if I type really incredibly slowly, it doesn't seem to mess up as much. I wonder if when this mode is enabled, NVDA tries to capture every single key on the keyboard and just can't keep up for whatever reason. Now that I type slowly like I am, there are no errors.

Ok, now that I have jaws, things should work just a little bit better around here for now. Let's see if I can type normally. Yep, I can. So obviously NVDA has something to do with it.

  • priority changed from critical to major
  • type changed from enhancement to defect

Does this Issue still occur for you with the newest NVDA snapshot?

I think this issue is more a defect than a enhancement andI declare this ticket to major because I had never heard from a issue such this from anyboddy I asked.
