potentially implement in NVDA the ability to start automatically on systems and/or the ability to start up at the log-in prompt.

You do mention the ability to start up at the logon prompt, but is this ticket specific to that or are you requesting *any* mechanism for automatic start up (e.g. the installer automatically adding a shortcut to the Startup folder in the Start Menu)? These are separate issues.
